[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk announced on the 25th that the 10% cashback benefit of the local currency 'Uljin Sarang Card' will end at midnight on the 29th.
The Uljin Sarang Card, which was launched in the form of an IC card on August 3rd, surpassed the initial goal of 3 billion KRW within three months of issuance and has continued a steep upward trend, exceeding 6.3 billion KRW as of December.
The 10% cashback benefit event started as a launch celebration and was extended until the end of the year, but due to a significant increase in card usage, the budget shortage led Uljin-gun to decide to end it a few days earlier. However, the 10% cashback event will resume from 0:00 on January 1st next year.
