[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Hyundai Home Shopping is showcasing a variety of products through its own live commerce corner to celebrate the year-end season.
Hyundai Home Shopping announced on the 24th that from the 28th to the 31st, it will hold a special broadcast called 'Good Buy 2020' on 'Shopping Live,' the real-time live commerce corner within the Hyundai H Mall mobile app.
More than 20 companies will participate in this Good Buy 2020 special broadcast, presenting a wide range of popular products including cosmetics, luxury goods, jewelry, and small home appliances. Featured items include the 'Sony camera,' 'Paseco electric heater,' 'Mimine soup tteokbokki,' and 'The Body Shop shampoo.'
On the 29th, from 7 PM to 9 PM, a two-hour live broadcast will be held in partnership with the overseas direct purchase platform Malltail, streaming live from Frankfurt, Germany. During the event, a local Korean YouTuber will showcase 13 products including Illy and Nespresso coffee machines, luxury brand scarves and bags. Gifts for infants and children such as 'Apple Crumby diapers,' 'Blue Rabbit IQ Baby,' and 'Milo & Gabby compact roll mat' will also be sold.
A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, "To capture the demand for non-face-to-face gifts, we are presenting various products through Shopping Live for the year-end season. We plan to continuously introduce trendy products and diverse content through the Shopping Live corner."

Hyundai H Mall Gift is a service that allows users to send gifts via KakaoTalk notification messages by simply knowing the recipient’s mobile phone number, even if their address is unknown, for products purchased on the Hyundai H Mall mobile app. Instead of pressing the purchase button on the mobile app product screen, users press the ‘Gift’ button, enter the recipient’s phone number, and complete the payment to send the message.
