On the same day, Professor Seo posted on his Facebook titled "What is the shortest-lived book in history?" stating, "The book commonly called the Jo Guk White Paper, 'Prosecutorial Reform and Candlelight Citizens,' was published in August 2020, but just four months later, with Jeong Gyeong-sim's arrest, it lost all value to be read," adding, "The readers who were moved to tears by this pathetic book are now crying out that the judiciary is a deep-rooted evil."
He continued, "What is even more absurd is the fact that the hardcore Moon Jae-in supporters (a derogatory term for people who blindly support President Moon Jae-in) raised 300 million won to publish this book," and said, "The authors of the Jo Guk Black Book, who did not spend much money on making the book and whose publisher bore most of the costs, wondered where that 300 million won went."
He added, "Then one of the authors promised, 'I will disclose the expenditure details soon,' but even now, after Jeong Gyeong-sim's arrest, that promise has not been kept," and criticized, "Mr. Hong Se-hwa would probably say, 'A democratic gangster acted like a democratic gangster.'"
The 'Jo Guk White Paper' is a book written by supporters of former Minister Jo Guk to respond to various allegations against Jo and his family, known as the so-called 'Jo Guk incident,' and was published last August.
On the 23rd, Professor Jeong, wife of former Minister of Justice Jo Guk, was sentenced to four years in prison and detained in court on 15 charges including admission fraud, illegal investment in private equity funds, and evidence tampering.
