Hyundai Mobis Halts Production at Asan Plant... "Policy to Maintain Appropriate Finished Vehicle Inventory"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Hyundai Mobis announced on the 23rd that it will halt production at its Asan plant due to the suspension of operations at Hyundai Motor's Asan plant.
Hyundai Mobis stated, "The production line suspension is due to the policy of maintaining appropriate finished vehicle inventory," and added, "Disruptions are expected in the production of modules supplied to Hyundai Motor's Asan plant."
The sales amount affected by the production halt is 996.6 billion KRW, which corresponds to 2.62% of last year's consolidated total sales.
