[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Kim Dong-seon, the third son of Hanwha Group Chairman Kim Seung-yeon and former head of the New Growth Strategy Team at Hanwha Construction, has rejoined Hanwha Group. Upon joining, he was promoted to Executive Director (Sangmubo).
Hanwha Group announced on the 23rd that former team leader Kim Dong-seon has joined Hanwha Energy as Executive Director (Sangmubo) in charge of global strategy.
Executive Director Kim graduated from the Taft School in the United States and Dartmouth College, and has a broad global network based on his experience participating in various international competitions.
He joined Hanwha Construction in 2014 as a manager, working in the Overseas Civil Engineering Business Division and serving as head of the New Growth Strategy Team. After leaving in 2017, he joined the domestic private equity firm Skylake Investment, gaining experience in corporate investment. Hanwha Energy expects that Executive Director Kim’s global network and diverse work experience will contribute to the expansion of Hanwha Energy’s global business.
