The Suto Culture Exhibition Hall was built in a traditional style harmonizing with cultural assets, with one above-ground floor, six bays in the front, and four bays on the side. Construction began in July 2017, and the exhibition hall was completed in July 2019. Since then, surrounding maintenance projects have been ongoing until recently.
Daepunghun, where the exhibition hall is located, was a place where the Sutosas (搜討使), officials who searched Ulleungdo (Dokdo), stayed while waiting for favorable winds. Uljin-gun dismantled and restored it in 2010.
