The Seoul campus selects freshmen from groups Na and Da, while the 2nd campus located in Cheonan selects from groups Ga and Na. There are 787 students admitted through the CSAT screening, 21 through practical skills and achievements (practical screening), and the 2nd campus in Cheonan recruits 133 students. The CSAT-based Security Studies screening admits 10 students only at the Seoul campus.
At the Seoul campus, group Na selects all departments except the College of Education, the Department of Fine Arts, and the Sports Health Management major in the Department of Sports Dance. Departments excluded from group Na are selected in group Da. The 2nd campus selects the Photography and Visual Media major and Digital Content major in the College of Arts from group Ga, and all departments in humanities, natural sciences, and arts and physical education (except Photography and Visual Media major and Digital Content major) from group Na. At the Seoul campus, the Animation major in group Na, and at the 2nd campus, the Photography and Visual Media major and Digital Content major in group Ga, the AR·VR Media Design major, Film and Video major (directing and staff), Theater major (theory), and Cultural Arts Management major in group Na are arts-related but are selected 100% based on the CSAT. For screenings including practical exams, the reflection ratio of CSAT and practical exams varies by department, and the number of practical exam subjects has been partially reduced compared to the previous year, so it is essential to check carefully.

Since the CSAT score reflection areas and ratios differ by campus, it is advantageous to check the regular admission guidelines carefully. For Korean, Mathematics (type Ga and Na), and Inquiry subjects, the Seoul campus reflects standard scores, while the 2nd campus reflects percentile scores. Both campuses convert English grades into scores for reflection, and the Korean History section grants additional points regardless of the field based on the acquired grade. Applicants to the Seoul campus Department of Mathematics Education must have taken Mathematics type Ga. Additionally, students who took Social Inquiry can cross-apply to the Department of Food and Clothing Sciences (Food and Nutrition major, Clothing major) in the natural sciences, and students who took Science Inquiry can cross-apply to all humanities departments. The 2nd campus allows applications without restrictions on Mathematics type Ga or Na and Inquiry subjects.
