LG Electronics Shares Kimchi and Groceries for Neighbors in Need

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] LG Electronics announced on the 23rd that it has donated the proceeds collected from the recent 'Sharing Love Kimchi' event to the Salvation Army Charity Pot Headquarters.
The Salvation Army Charity Pot Headquarters plans to purchase kimchi made from napa cabbages grown in Haenam, Jeollanam-do, and Yeongyang, Gyeongsangbuk-do with the donation funds and donate it next month to 800 households in the small-room villages of Donuidong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and Namdaemun area, Jung-gu.
In addition, food packages containing ingredients such as rice, ramen, canned food, and flour will also be delivered. Haenam and Yeongyang are regions selected by LG Electronics as part of its One Company One Village program to promote win-win cooperation with rural areas.
Since 2012, the kimchi delivered to neighbors in need through LG Electronics' annual Sharing Love Kimchi event has reached approximately 31 tons.
