Goyang-si, 6 Confirmed Cases in Nursing Hospitals... 26 Additional Cases Confirmed
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] In Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, 21 additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed, including 6 related to a nursing hospital.
According to the city health authorities as of 4 p.m. on the 22nd, there were 9 infections among family members, 1 contact with a local confirmed case, 3 contacts with confirmed cases from other regions, and 7 cases with infection routes under investigation.
At nursing hospital A, where the first confirmed case was reported on the 14th and cohort isolation is in place, 6 additional cases were confirmed, including 4 residents and 2 staff members, bringing the total confirmed cases at the nursing hospital to 63.
By district, there were 11 cases in Deogyang-gu, 6 in Ilsandong-gu, 2 in Ilsanseo-gu, and 7 cases among citizens from other regions. Additionally, on the previous day (the 21st), one Goyang citizen was confirmed positive at the Mapo-gu Public Health Center.
