Pasu Builds External Collaboration Solution for Hyundai Steel

Amid increasing demand for non-face-to-face collaboration solutions due to the impact of COVID-19, Fasoo has built an environment where Hyundai Steel can safely and efficiently deliver documents to external parties such as partners and affiliates. Hyundai Steel has blocked arbitrary unauthorized export of important documents such as design drawings (CAD) and strengthened control over exported drawing documents.
The external collaboration platform Wrapsody eCo, established by Hyundai Steel, supports internal users and external partners to form groups to easily and securely share documents and manage collaboration history. Hyundai Steel enhanced security by encrypting various design drawing (CAD) documents and controlling usage permissions such as viewing, editing, and printing, as well as audit tracking functions. The document recipients are designated so that no one other than the parties involved can access the drawing files, and a destruction date is set so that the documents are automatically destroyed after that date. By applying document virtualization technology, important documents can be shared and the latest versions checked without going through multiple communication channels such as email and FTP. It also reduces unnecessary resources caused by document fragmentation.
Through Fasoo eXception Management, an exception policy management approval system, an external export approval system for drawing documents was established. Usage history and tracking of exported documents are possible, and the content of the documents can be checked if necessary.
