[Breaking] Temporary Screening Clinics in Seoul Metropolitan Area Report Up to 131 Daily Cases... 'Hidden Infections' Found
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] More than 100 confirmed cases were detected in a single day at temporary screening clinics operating to proactively identify COVID-19 patients in the Seoul metropolitan area.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 22nd, 131 new confirmed cases tested positive anonymously at temporary screening clinics in the metropolitan area the previous day. By region, there were 78 in Seoul, 36 in Gyeonggi, and 17 in Incheon.
This is the largest number of daily confirmed cases since the temporary screening clinics began operation on the 14th. The total number of confirmed cases identified at these clinics has surpassed 600, reaching 609 so far.
