International Wiseman Mokpo Bipa Club Delivers Love Briquettes to Low-Income Families
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that the International Wiseman Mokpo Bipa Club (President Kim Hong-yeon) supported 800 briquettes of love (200 briquettes each for 4 low-income households) in Yudal-dong on the 20th, carrying out warm neighborly love volunteer activities during the cold winter.
On that day, the briquettes sharing volunteer activity was originally planned for about 20 members of the International Wiseman Mokpo Bipa Club to directly deliver 800 briquettes to 4 low-income households, but due to the nationwide spread of COVID-19, the number of households for direct delivery was reduced to one, and the remaining three households received direct delivery from a company.
Kim Hong-yeon, president of the International Wiseman Mokpo Bipa Club, said, “I am glad that club members gathered their hearts to participate in the neighborly love movement during this difficult time for the entire nation due to COVID-19,” and added, “I hope the warm energy blossoming among the members while carrying the briquettes will be conveyed to the neighbors in need, making this winter a little warmer.”
Park Ho-bin, head of Yudal-dong, said, “I sincerely thank the Mokpo Bipa Club members for actively volunteering by delivering briquettes of love to neighbors in need within Yudal-dong,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in creating a Yudal-dong where we live together with neighbors in difficulty.”
