According to Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Jung Young-jin) on the 21st, at 6:28 p.m. on the 20th, a report was received that resident A (87 years old), living in Sangjodo, Jodo-myeon, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, was experiencing cardiovascular emergency symptoms accompanied by asthma-related breathing difficulties at home.
The Coast Guard dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the Jindo Police Substation, complied with COVID-19 response procedures, boarded the patient, provided continuous emergency treatment including oxygen supply through an oxygen resuscitator, and moved to Seomang Port in Jindo, where the 119 ambulance team waiting at around 7:35 p.m. took over.
With the Coast Guard's assistance, patient A was urgently transported to Jindo Hanguk Hospital, where they are undergoing detailed examinations and treatment.
