Hi Investment & Securities to Pay Interim Dividend of 86 Won per Share...Total 41.9 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Hi Investment & Securities announced on the 21st that it held a board meeting and decided to proceed with an interim dividend totaling 41.9 billion KRW.
This interim dividend will be paid at 86 KRW per common share. The record date for shareholders entitled to the dividend was November 30. The payment will be made to shareholders within one month.
Earlier, at the regular shareholders' meeting in March, Hi Investment & Securities amended its articles of incorporation to introduce an interim dividend clause as part of shareholder-friendly management. Earlier this year, the company conducted a paid-in capital increase of 200 billion KRW, raising its equity capital to the 1 trillion KRW level. This was thanks to focusing resources on core business growth and securing growth engines such as expanding ECM, personal digital finance, and equity operation businesses, thereby enhancing profitability.
As of the third quarter, the cumulative operating profit on a consolidated basis reached 104.8 billion KRW, and net profit was 85.9 billion KRW. The company continues its record-breaking performance, already surpassing last year's annual net profit.
Hi Investment & Securities is responsible for 25% of DGB Financial Group's net profit contribution, leading growth in the non-banking sector.
