[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Nearly 100 new confirmed cases were added in one day through anonymous testing at temporary screening clinics set up to find 'hidden infections' of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Seoul metropolitan area.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) on the 21st, 94 new confirmed cases tested positive in anonymous tests at temporary screening clinics in the metropolitan area the previous day.
By region, there were 35 in Seoul, 54 in Gyeonggi, and 5 in Incheon.
Since the temporary screening clinics began operation on the 14th, the total number of confirmed cases accumulated over one week reached 479.
