Monami Launches Retro-Inspired 'FX 153 Topgol Set'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Monami announced on the 21st that it will release the ‘FX 153 Tapgol Set,’ which patterns retro items to capture a vintage sensibility.
The FX 153 Tapgol Set features a transparent hexagonal body with refill cores patterned with retro items such as a barbershop, mother-of-pearl chest, snack plates, and silver trays that seem to come from the past, adding a retro feel. Additionally, the package design incorporates a Hangul logo that evokes analog sensibility and uses an actual Monami advertisement from the 1980s to add fun.
The set consists of four 0.5mm ballpoint pens: ‘Jagaejang Black,’ ‘Tteok-Twi-Soon Black,’ ‘Barbershop Blue,’ and ‘Silver Tray Red.’
It uses black, blue, and red low-viscosity inks that provide a clean and smooth writing experience without ink clumping. Especially, ‘Jagaejang Black’ and ‘Silver Tray Red’ include a silver deposition film that creates a sparkling effect when reflected by light.
