Announcing Credit Trading Risks First... Shinhan Investment Corp Launches 'Credit School'
Providing Educational Programs for Beginner Investors Starting Stock Margin Trading
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Shinhan Financial Investment has prepared content to inform novice investors about the advantages and disadvantages of margin trading.
On the 21st, Shinhan Financial Investment announced that it will start a program called "Credit School" for investors using stock margin buying for the first time.
"Credit School" is a basic education program on stocks and margin trading provided to novice investors through Shinhan Financial Investment's application (app) "Shinhan Alpha." It is part of Shinhan Financial Investment's "New Investment Culture Campaign for Stock Beginners."
The program is designed to help novice investors considering margin trading intuitively understand essential information. Through videos, users can learn the correct methods and risks of margin trading, while mobile pages provide information on margin buying limits, order methods, collateral ratios during margin buying, and forced liquidation. Additionally, a quiz format is used to assess understanding of margin trading. There are also "elective courses" where users can learn technical indicators for stock investment and stories of investment failures, as well as "after-school education" composed of recommended alerts and Investment Plus services provided by Shinhan Financial Investment.
Accessibility has also been enhanced. The "Credit School" course has been added to the margin service guide screen in the "Shinhan Alpha" app. A separate section for "Credit School" has also been organized.
