According to Daegu City on the 20th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Daegu area was 7,497 (including 103 imported cases), an increase of 25 from the previous day.
Among the new confirmed cases, 8 are residents related to churches. Three each were confirmed in connection with Dalseong-gun Yeongsin Church and Nam-gu Shinil Church, and 2 additional cases were confirmed related to Jung-gu Saevision Church. As a result, the cumulative confirmed cases for each church increased to 58 for Yeongsin Church, 36 for Saevision Church, and 58 for Shinil Church.
Two people were also confirmed positive from diagnostic tests conducted on contacts related to the Jung-gu LINA Life Insurance call center. Since the 17th, when 2 cases were confirmed, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to this life insurance company call center has increased to 10, including 6 on the 18th and 2 on the 19th.
Additionally, 11 people tested positive from diagnostic tests conducted on contacts of confirmed cases, and 4 people who visited screening clinics with symptoms such as fever were also confirmed positive.
