Prime Minister Jeong Visits and Encourages 'Bakae Hospital,' the First Private Hospital Dedicated to COVID-19 Care
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun visited Pakae Hospital in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, which was designated as the first private hospital dedicated to COVID-19, on the 19th to check the bed preparation status and encourage hospital director Kim Byung-geun and other officials.
According to the Prime Minister's Office on that day, Prime Minister Chung received a report on the bed status from Director Kim Byung-geun and inspected the hospital's dialysis room and intensive care unit.
Prime Minister Chung said, "Pakae Hospital is a general hospital with a long history in Pyeongtaek, and on behalf of the government, I sincerely thank Director Kim Byung-geun of Pyeongtaek Pakae Hospital and all related personnel who made the decision to dedicate all hospital beds for the treatment of COVID-19 patients."
