The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "With a slight wind blowing that day, the wind chill temperature will drop below -20 degrees Celsius in some areas, making it extremely cold."
Chungnam, Jeolla Province, and Jeju Island will have occasionally cloudy skies, and especially on Jeju Island, there may be rain or snow until around 9 a.m.
The morning low temperatures will drop significantly, with cold wave warnings issued for northern Gyeonggi, western Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, where temperatures will be around -15 degrees Celsius. Cold wave advisories have been issued for central inland areas, eastern Jeonbuk, and inland Gyeongbuk, where temperatures will be around -10 degrees Celsius, resulting in very cold weather.
Dryness warnings have been issued for eastern Gangwon, eastern Jeonnam, Gyeongsang Province, and the atmosphere nationwide will be very dry.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted as follows: △Seoul -10°C △Chuncheon -15°C △Gangneung -5°C △Daejeon -8°C △Cheongju -9°C △Daegu -6°C △Gwangju -4°C △Jeonju -6°C △Busan -3°C △Jeju 4°C.
The daytime high temperatures are expected to be: △Seoul -2°C △Chuncheon -1°C △Gangneung 4°C △Daejeon 2°C △Cheongju 0°C △Daegu 3°C △Gwangju 3°C △Jeonju 3°C △Busan 5°C △Jeju 5°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions.
