Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Hosts 'Infinite Imagination Living Lab' Results Sharing Meeting
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] On the 18th, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it held the ‘Infinite Imagination Living Lab Results Sharing Meeting’ together with the Gwangju Social Economy Support Center on the 17th.
A Living Lab is a user-centered activity for discovering and solving daily life problems. It is also called a social innovation method that uses various life sites as laboratories, experimenting on all social issues.
Gwangsan-gu has been conducting the ‘Infinite Imagination Living Lab’ since last year. At this results sharing meeting held at the center, citizen solutions proposed during this year’s ‘Gwangsan Education Platform Development Idea Workshop’ and ‘Jangnok Wetland Resident Utilization Idea Workshop’ were introduced.
At the previously held Education Platform Workshop, citizens suggested that when opening and operating a platform where various educational contents of Gwangsan-gu can be experienced, the opinions of content producers and consumers should be sufficiently collected.
Additionally, at the Jangnok Wetland Workshop, the Eoryong-dong Resident Solution Group proposed three utilization methods for Jangnok Wetland: ‘close-range direct experience,’ ‘long-range direct experience’ through observing wildlife cameras, and ‘non-contact indirect experience’ via observation cameras.
Gwangsan-gu plans to promote the workshop proposals by filming the habitat of wildlife in Jangnok Wetland and sharing the footage on the district’s official website and SNS.
