Muan County Council Concludes the 269th Extraordinary Session... Wrapping Up This Year's Legislative Schedule
Processing of 8 Agenda Items Including the 5th Supplementary Budget Proposal and Ordinance Proposals
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kim Dae-hyun) announced on the 18th that it has concluded all its legislative schedules for this year with the 2nd plenary session of the 269th extraordinary meeting held on the 17th.
The extraordinary meeting, held over four days starting from the 14th, handled a total of eight agenda items, including the 5th supplementary budget for 2020 and seven ordinances such as the "Ordinance on Support for Small Business Owners in Muan County."
The 5th supplementary budget submitted by the executive branch was approved as originally proposed, amounting to 720.5 billion KRW.
In his closing remarks, Chairman Kim Dae-hyun said, "I would like to thank the residents who have shown great interest and support to our council despite many difficulties this year, including COVID-19," and added, "In the new year of the Year of the Ox, let us all work together to overcome COVID-19 and write a new hope."

Meanwhile, the 8th Muan County Council held nine sessions throughout 2020 and processed a total of 140 agenda items, including 104 ordinances, 14 consents and approvals, and seven budget and settlement proposals.
