This donation was prepared to help vulnerable groups nationwide who are struggling to make a living as face-to-face volunteer activities, briquette donations, and sponsorships have significantly decreased compared to previous years amid the economic downturn caused by COVID-19. The donation provided by Fursys will be used to support briquettes so that neighbors in marginalized areas can have a warm winter.
A Fursys official said, "As the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has increased the number of local neighbors experiencing financial difficulties and made volunteer activities challenging, we delivered the donation to provide more practical help." He added, "We will continue various activities to care for marginalized neighbors, contribute to the local community, and achieve mutual growth."
