NH Nonghyup Bank Achieves Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) Certification for the Third Consecutive Time
Active Efforts Including Publication Production to Promote a Culture of Protecting Financially Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 18th that it has been recognized for its efforts in practicing consumer-centered management and has obtained the Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification, which is overseen by the Fair Trade Commission.
The CCM certification is a system that evaluates and certifies how much a company considers the consumer perspective and improves its systems in all activities it undertakes, with assessments conducted every two years. It is operated by the Korea Consumer Agency and certified by the Fair Trade Commission.
By obtaining the CCM certification, for the next two years until December 2022, if the company receives corrective actions due to violations of consumer-related laws, the level of sanctions will be reduced. Additionally, the company will receive benefits such as awards for excellent companies and the right to use the certification mark in internal and external promotional materials and advertisements.
Nonghyup Bank explained that it has systematized CCM with the vision of becoming a "beloved leading national bank," and by striving to fulfill corporate social responsibility and establish an honest organizational culture, it has solidified its position as a customer-centered bank by obtaining CCM certification three consecutive times since the first new certification in the banking sector in 2016.
Recently, to promote a culture of protecting financially vulnerable groups, the bank produced and distributed a booklet and video titled "Safe Consumer Life Guide for Seniors." It also holds a monthly "Zero Customer Complaints Meeting" to review customer suggestions and reflect improvement plans in business processes, striving to provide customer-centered financial services.
