View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 17th, Gimhae City in Gyeongnam held a meeting of the ‘Child-Friendly City Promotion Team’ at City Hall to create a UNICEF Child-Friendly City.
The Child-Friendly City Promotion Team is led by Vice Mayor Kang Deok-chul and consists of heads of 31 departments responsible for child-related policies as working-level members.
At this meeting, they discussed the progress of the Child-Friendly City certification, monitoring of 190 related projects, and the child-friendly city creation projects for the next year.

Vice Mayor Kang said, “For Gimhae City to become a city where not only children but all citizens are happy, the role of the Promotion Team is very important,” and added, “We need to think not just about being a city with many children, but about how to make it a city where children can live well.”
