Four Confirmed Cases in Goyang's 'Temporary Screening Clinic' Within Three Days of Operation
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province has confirmed 4 positive cases among those tested at the temporary COVID-19 screening clinics as of the 16th, the third day since their installation and operation.
According to the city on the 17th, a total of 2,174 free COVID-19 tests were voluntarily taken by citizens at the temporary screening clinics, including 1,109 rapid antigen tests and 1,065 PCR tests. As a result, 4 citizens tested positive at the Hwajeong Culture Square temporary screening clinic.
A total of 19 positive cases were detected at temporary screening clinics installed in the metropolitan area for proactive COVID-19 testing, with 4 of those cases found in Goyang City alone.
The city is operating temporary screening clinics at three locations until January 3 next year: Hwajeong Culture Square (Exit 4 of Hwajeong Station), Goyang Tourism Information Center (Exits 1 and 2 of Jeongbalsan Station), and Gyeongui Line Ilsan Station Plaza.
