[Special Stock] DIC Rises on News of Supplying Transmission Parts to Tesla
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] DIC's stock price is on the rise. It appears to have surged following news that it supplies transmission parts to the American electric vehicle company Tesla.
As of 1:24 PM on the 17th, DIC's stock price recorded 2,150 KRW, up 29.91% from the previous day. The news of supplying transmission parts to Tesla seems to have acted as a positive factor.
According to industry sources, DIC reportedly delivered about 200,000 reducer gears and shift-related parts to Tesla this year. It is known that these parts, worth around 10 billion KRW, were supplied directly to Tesla's U.S. headquarters.
