10 Million KRW Donated to Miryang Citizen Scholarship Foundation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Miryang Citizens Scholarship Foundation donated 10 million won in scholarship funds on the 17th at the Miryang City Forestry Cooperative to support the cultivation of outstanding local talents and the fostering of prestigious schools in the Miryang area.
The Miryang City Forestry Cooperative also donated 10 million won each in 2015 and 2017, making a total donation of 30 million won up to this year.
Hwang Hoon-gu, the head of the cooperative, said, “The Miryang City Forestry Cooperative will take the lead not only in growing trees but also in nurturing talents who will lead the future of Miryang,” adding, “We hope that the donated scholarship funds will serve as a foundation for fostering local talents and contribute even a little to brightening the future of Miryang.”
