Jeonnam Children's Meal Management Support Center Conducts 'Parent On-site Observation Program'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The Jeonnam Children's Meal Management Support Center, commissioned and operated by the Department of Food and Nutrition at Dongshin University, announced on the 16th that it conducted a 'Parent On-site Observation Program' for member facilities to promote the status of children's meal sites and the center's role and necessity.
This year's Parent On-site Observation Program was conducted using both face-to-face and non-face-to-face methods to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
At three member facilities, face-to-face sessions were held where parents participated in kitchen monitoring experiences to check the hygiene safety and nutrition status of meals, as well as education on appropriate portioning for infants and toddlers.
Through the non-face-to-face 'Local Food Expedition,' 500 parents from member facilities received Jeonnam local food, mask strap making kits, hygiene supplies, and educational materials via a drive-through method.
