[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Daegu City announced on the 16th that the Daegu Big Data Utilization Center will hold a completion report meeting for the 'Tourism and Living Population Analysis Demonstration Project' on the morning of the 17th.
This 'Tourism and Living Population Analysis Demonstration Project' has been underway since June, involving data collection and processing, analysis, and expert consultation. Starting early next year, it is expected to be utilized by Daegu City and its districts and counties.
Through this demonstration project, it will be possible to analyze the number of tourists and consumption patterns at each tourist site from multiple perspectives based on communication data and card sales data. According to Daegu City, this can be usefully applied not only to the establishment of scientific tourism policies but also to the development of tourism resources.
