Auditor Staff Collect Scholarship Fund from Awards... 2 Million Won Scholarship for 9 Students This Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] The Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 16th that it will provide scholarships of 2 million won to nine students recommended by public and private elementary, middle, and high schools selected as excellent schools in this year's audit.
The Gyeongbuk Provincial Auditor voluntarily organized the "Integrity Character Scholarship Association" and has been awarding scholarships annually since 2012 using donations and various prize money as funds. There are 21 employees working in the Gyeongbuk Provincial Auditor's Office. Over the past eight years, a total of 33.6 million won in scholarships has been distributed to 212 elementary, middle, and high school students.

Lee Eun-mi, the president of the Integrity Character Scholarship Association and auditor, said, "I hope the scholarships, filled with the warm hearts of the staff, will be used meaningfully for students going through difficult times due to COVID-19," adding, "We will continue to actively support the auditor staff in expanding integrity practice and social contribution activities."
