[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Toss Insurance, the insurance affiliate of Toss, is gearing up for full-scale business expansion through additional year-end recruitment.
Toss Insurance announced on the 16th that it will hire about 30 additional Insurance Analysis Managers.
Anyone who resonates with Toss Insurance's vision and wishes to pursue a career as an Insurance Analysis Manager can apply, even without relevant experience. Successful candidates will join in February next year and will be converted to full-time employees after a six-month evaluation period.
Unlike typical insurance corporate agencies (GA) that usually appoint experienced professionals under contract, Toss Insurance hired about 30 new Insurance Analysis Managers without prior experience in the insurance industry this year. Millennials in their 20s and 30s with diverse backgrounds and careers, including former HR teams of large corporations, overseas financial firms, and game company designers, have joined in large numbers.
Since October, those who have been deployed in the field have been breaking away from the sales-oriented insurance planning practices and providing in-depth consultation experiences tailored to the individual situations of customers across various age groups. Insurance Analysis Managers are a job group that provides customized coverage analysis and consultation to customers who request insurance consultation through the Toss application (app).
Based on objective data, they help customers reduce over-insured parts to lower premiums or find suitable products to cover insufficient areas. Currently, the number of Insurance Analysis Managers at Toss Insurance has tripled to about 80 compared to the beginning of the year.
The new managers have grown into insurance experts by completing an 8-week job training course and all obtaining life insurance and non-life insurance planner certifications. The training team, composed of five insurance sales and education experts with an average of 10 years of experience, provides systematic education on the insurance industry, products, and customer consultation. Even after deployment, active mutual feedback and continuous coaching take place within squads consisting of 10 Insurance Analysis Managers and one consultation coach.
