[Bitcoin Now] Slight Rise in Domestic and International Bitcoin Prices... 21 Million KRW and 19,400 USD Levels
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Bitcoin, the number one cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is showing an upward trend in both domestic and international markets, reaching 21.1 million KRW and 19,400 USD levels.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb as of 7:30 AM on the 16th, Bitcoin rose 0.40% (85,000 KRW) from 24 hours ago to 21,151,000 KRW. A total of 103.3 billion KRW worth of Bitcoin was traded during the day.
Most other cryptocurrencies are moving within a stable range. Cardano (1.32%), Chainlink (0.87%), Litecoin (0.73%), and Ethereum (0.55%) are slightly up, while Stellar Lumens (-0.49%), Bitcoin SV (-0.22%), and EOS (-0.06%) are slightly down.
At the same time on Upbit, Bitcoin is trading at 21,159,000 KRW, up 1.05% (220,000 KRW) from the previous day.
On Upbit, the price movements of cryptocurrencies are mixed. Bitcoin Cash (4.90%) is showing strength, with EOS (0.65%) and Ethereum (0.60%) also slightly rising. Meanwhile, Ripple (-4.44%), Cardano (-1.74%), and Stellar Lumens (-1.08%) are declining.
In overseas markets, an upward trend is observed. According to cryptocurrency market data provider CoinMarketCap at the same time, Bitcoin was up 1.59% from 24 hours ago, trading at 19,463.62 USD.
Most cryptocurrencies in overseas markets are also showing mixed movements. Bitcoin Cash (7.48%) is rising sharply, while Litecoin (-0.66%), Ethereum (0.52%), and Tether (0.04%) are showing slight gains. On the other hand, Ripple (-3.81%), Binance Coin (-2.01%), and Chainlink (-1.18%) are declining.
