[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Chung Yong-jin, Vice Chairman of Shinsegae Group, has taken on the role of 'ambassador' by sharing news of his visit to the 'Gravity Seoul Pangyo, Autograph Collection' hotel, which is set to open on the 30th.
On the 15th, Vice Chairman Chung posted three photos related to the hotel on his social networking service (SNS) Instagram with the caption "#GravityHotel @gravity_seoulpangyo".
Gravity is Shinsegae Chosun Hotel's first lifestyle hotel and its third independent brand. It features a swimming pool, which has been hard to find in Pangyo, and has secured a global reservation network through a partnership with Marriott International.
A representative from Shinsegae Chosun Hotel stated, "We understand that the visit was for an on-site inspection before the opening this morning," and added, "The hotel opening will proceed as originally planned."
The building near Pangyo Station consists of a total of 306 rooms across six basement floors and 18 above-ground floors, including Business Deluxe, Premier Deluxe, Valley Suite, and Gravity Suite rooms. It features three food and beverage outlets: the lounge & bar 'Zero-vity', buffet restaurant 'Andish', and modern Japanese dining 'Homurang'. The venue also includes the 'Space Ballroom', a banquet hall that can be divided into three rooms and accommodate up to 300 people, as well as the 'Gravity Club' with an indoor swimming pool with an outdoor deck, fitness center, and GX room.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the opening of Gravity, Shinsegae Chosun Hotel has launched the 'Hello Gravity' package with early bird benefits, available for purchase through the Marriott website until March 31 of next year. The stay period is from the opening date of Gravity on December 30 until March 31, 2021.
