Sporadic Infections Continue in Gyeongnam... 8 Additional Confirmed Cases
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] As the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) spreads rapidly in South Korea, sporadic infections continue in Gyeongnam Province.
On the morning of the 15th, Gyeongnam Province announced that 8 confirmed cases were reported: 3 in Changwon, 2 each in Gimhae and Geoje, and 1 in Hadong.
By region, in Changwon, a man in his 60s was classified as case number 882 after contact with the province's confirmed case number 870. A woman in her 30s was classified as case number 883 after testing positive following contact with confirmed case number 876. Case number 880, a man in his 30s, is currently under investigation for the infection route.
In Gimhae, a teenage boy was classified as case number 879 after testing positive following contact with confirmed case number 820. A woman in her 20s was classified as case number 881 after testing positive as a contact of confirmed case number 594.
In Geoje, two additional confirmed cases related to the shipyard were reported. A man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s tested positive related to the Geoje shipyard and were classified as cases 885 and 886, respectively.
In Hadong, a woman in her 80s tested positive and was classified as case number 884.
