ADT Caps Conducts 'Non-Face-to-Face Crime Prevention Self-Defense Lecture'
For Health Care Officers... Lecture Prepared to Enhance Safety of Officials in Emergency Situations
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Security specialist company ADT Caps (CEO Park Jin-hyo) announced on the 14th that it conducted a non-face-to-face "Crime Prevention Self-Defense Lecture" for 152 health care officers assigned by the Korea Health Promotion Institute to be deployed in island and mountainous areas.
The self-defense lecture is a talent donation-type social contribution activity in which the ADT Caps professional security team visits institutions such as schools, hospitals, and government offices to help community safety through specialized safety education. It is one of the crime prevention campaigns that ADT Caps has been continuing for over 10 years.
In particular, the self-defense lecture for health care officers has been ongoing for three years this year. Due to the nature of local health centers, many work alone, and the distance from police stations makes immediate response difficult in emergencies. ADT Caps designed a program that can provide practical help in case of danger so that health care officers can protect themselves.
This lecture was conducted non-face-to-face considering the educational efficiency of prospective public officials living across the country and the prevention of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The ADT Caps security team conducted the training at Samgyeong Education Center located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and participants joined via video from their individual homes.
On this day, ADT Caps educated not only the basic safety rules that form the foundation of self-defense but also various types of incidents and accidents that may occur during fieldwork and crime prevention tips. They also taught the types and usage of self-defense tools through practice so that participants could protect themselves and those around them in dangerous situations.
