View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Shin Woo-cheol) announced on the 14th that it received the Excellent Institution Certification (Minister of the Interior and Safety Award) at the ‘2020 Public Officials Labor-Management Culture Excellent Institution Awards Ceremony’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 12th.
The Public Officials Labor-Management Culture Certification System is a program that certifies and rewards excellent cases of public official organizations and institutions to foster a win-win cooperative public service culture, and has been operated since 2010.
The county received its second certification following the Excellent Labor-Management Culture Administrative Institution Certification in 2015.
A county official said, “We received an institutional commendation from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in the evaluation of excellent public officials labor-management culture cases over the two years of 2018 and 2019, and we have been recognized as an excellent administrative institution for public officials labor-management culture for the next two years.”

Wando-gun and the Wando-gun Public Officials Labor Union (Chairman Kim Wan-ju) have been promoting various labor-management harmony events to establish a sound labor-management culture based on coexistence and cooperation, including listening to and resolving employee difficulties annually, delivering sneakers and commemorative badges wishing a new start to retired public officials, organizing filial piety trips for labor-management families, and supporting the ‘Compliment Delivery Box Goes’ which delivers snacks to courteous public officials.
