Opening a Collaborative Platform with Startups for Martial Arts and Distribution Innovation
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoonju Hwang] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced that it held the 'Trade Association x Interpark Biz Market Startup Open Innovation Day' at the COEX Startup Branch in Samseong-dong in collaboration with Interpark Biz Market.
Interpark Biz Market is a leading purchasing agency (MRO) platform company that oversees Interpark Group's business-to-business (B2B) business and overseas online and offline distribution, boasting over 10,000 suppliers and more than 30,000 brands.
The event was organized to explore collaboration possibilities with startups in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), logistics, and information and communication technology (IT) services to innovate B2B distribution processes and services. Among 72 startups that applied in advance, six companies were finally selected through screening and one-on-one meetups to participate in the open innovation event.
The V Planet, which owns an automatic advertising video production platform; Seers Lab, which provides augmented reality content applicable to various devices; Chainlogis, which offers a four-hour same-day delivery service exclusively for online commerce; and Blue Whale Company, which operates delivery, storage, and pickup services utilizing vacant spaces in downtown stores, showcased their innovative services and proposed collaboration.
