"Report COVID Violations to the Safe Reporting Center"
All Changwon Citizens Join the 'Quarantine Monitoring Team' to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 11th that it will operate the nation's first 'Changwon City COVID-19 Safe Reporting Center' starting from the 7th.
Any Changwon citizen can report matters related to COVID-19 in general, such as violations of gathering bans, not wearing masks, and non-compliance with quarantine rules, through the 'COVID-19 Safe Reporting Center' set up on the Changwon City Hall website using a mobile phone or public I-PIN.
As of the 11th, a total of 20 complaints have been received at the COVID-19 Safe Reporting Center: 9 cases of non-compliance with quarantine rules, 9 cases of not wearing masks, and 2 cases of gathering ban violations.
For the received reports, the relevant department will verify the contents and provide an official response from the city within 7 days.
In particular, following the elevation to social distancing level 2, the city is conducting daily inspections and crackdowns on a total of 23 business types, including entertainment establishments and PC rooms, covering 22,346 locations.
