As the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) approached the 700 mark for three consecutive days, on the 11th, a patient whose condition had improved was transferred to the infectious disease ward at the National Medical Center's negative pressure isolation ward in Jung-gu, Seoul. The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that 689 new confirmed cases were reported nationwide as of midnight that day.
