SBI Fintech Solutions Decides to Lend 16.7 Billion KRW to Japanese Subsidiary
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] SBI Fintech Solutions announced on the 11th that it has decided to lend 16.7 billion KRW to its Japanese subsidiary SBI Remit. The loan amount is 35.48% of the equity capital (47 billion KRW) as of March 31, and the total outstanding loan balance is 41.7 billion KRW. The loan maturity date is January 13 of next year.

The company explained the purpose of the loan as "Due to the suspension of transactions with financial institutions in Japan during the year-end and New Year period, funds cannot be transferred, so we intend to keep surplus funds in the subsidiary's international remittance service processing account in advance."
