Lee Heon, a lawyer and a PCC Chief recommendation committee member from the People Power Party, sent a statement to reporters on the 10th, saying, "As a form of protest against the procedurally and substantively unconstitutional and unjust PCC Chief amendment legislation, we are considering the option of immediate resignation."

He also stated that after participating in the recommendation committee, "We are discussing with the opposition party the possibility of filing a lawsuit to confirm the invalidity of the resolution and to suspend its execution, as well as requesting a constitutional review petition against the amended PCC Act."
