'Electric three-wheeled vehicle suitable for various agricultural activities' that won the grand prize at the Gyeongsangbuk-do Industrial Design Competition.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do will hold the "51st Gyeongbuk Industrial Design Exhibition" for four days from the 10th to the 13th at the first-floor exhibition hall of Gyeongju Seorabeol Culture Center.
Hosted by Gyeongbuk Province and organized by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Craft Cooperative, the annual "Industrial Design Exhibition" is regarded as a representative contest in the field of industrial design for prospective designers and artists nationwide. This exhibition features a total of 255 works, including 171 visual designs, 60 craft designs, and 24 product and environmental designs.
The judging panel, composed of experts in each field, selected 143 award-winning works based on usability, design, ideas, production, and technical level. These 143 award-winning works will be showcased at the exhibition starting on the 10th.
The Grand Prize, which is the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, was awarded to the work "Electric Four-Wheeled Vehicle Suitable for Various Agricultural Activities" by artists Kim Young-gyun and Baek Woo-yeol (KPD Co., Ltd.). This work is characterized by being an electric vehicle specialized for use in orchards, equipped with items that can be adapted to the user's environment.
In addition, 18 people received the Gyeongsangbuk-do Governor's Award (3 Gold, 3 Silver, 6 Bronze, and 6 Encouragement Awards). The Gold Awards went to ▲ Woo Sang-wook and Min Kyung-hee (Songhayo) for "2020 Late Autumn Tea Ceremony" in the craft design category ▲ Yang Tae-jun (Dongguk University) for "Yeotsaryeo" in the visual design category ▲ Kim Min-su (Keimyung University) for "Health Care Robot Feeder" in the product and environmental design category. The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Craft Cooperative Chairman's Award was given to 39 special selections and 85 honorable mentions.
