Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group Successfully Concludes '2020 Elementary School AI·SW Festival'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The SW-Centered University Project Group at Chosun University announced on the 9th that it completed the elementary school ‘AI·SW Festival’ course on the 7th.
The ‘2020 AI·SW Festival’ course for elementary school students is an educational program conducted using the expert resources of the Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group.
This year, the faculty of the Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group visited Janghyang Elementary School in Jangseong, Jeonnam, Bongrae Elementary School in Goheung, and Wolsan Elementary School in Gwangju to conduct lectures tailored to the level of elementary students, including AI·AR art experiences, Jimu Robot, Blocking Coding, Turtle Robot, Alpha1 Robot soccer, and Robot military dance.
A representative from an elementary school participating in this course said, “Despite the COVID-19 situation, we deeply thank the professors of the Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group who visited the school in person to conduct education for the development of students’ capabilities, and we hope that opportunities for AI·SW education will be provided to our students again in 2021.”
