Road Maintenance Project in Bonryang-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Underway
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Rep. Lee Yong-bin (The Democratic Party of Korea, Gwangju Gwangsan-gap) announced on the 9th that he secured 500 million KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for local priority projects.
The special grant secured this time will be used for the road maintenance project on Bondong-ro in Bonryang-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, with completion planned for September next year.
Until now, the section from Pyeongnimgyo Bridge to Bonryang East-West Road in Gwangsan-gu has had deteriorated roads and poor drainage, causing significant inconvenience to vehicles passing through. Nearby residents have been requesting road construction for over 10 years.
Once the poor road construction and approximately 9.8 km of drainage maintenance work are completed, it is expected to provide safety prevention and a pleasant road environment for residents passing through this area.
