Online Admission Consulting for 2021 Regular Admissions Preparation to be Held on January 4 and 5 Next Year... Customized Admission Information Including University Entrance Forecasts and Admission Procedures Provided to 120 Examinees and Parents
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) is recruiting participants for the online non-face-to-face ‘2021 Academic Year Regular Admission Customized 1:1 Admission Consulting’ from the 14th to the 23rd.
This consulting is designed to provide personalized admission information to examinees and parents in preparation for the college entrance regular admission application and schedule starting January 7 next year, offering practical help for academic planning.
The target participants are 120 college entrance examinees and parents, recruited on a first-come, first-served basis through the district office website.
Final selection results will be notified individually via mobile phone on the 29th of this month, and if the number of pre-registrations is insufficient, applications can be made by phone after the recruitment period.
On January 4 and 5 next year, starting at 6 p.m., the district will provide 1:1 customized admission strategy consultations with 10 active teachers from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education’s University Admission Guidance Team for examinees and parents.
In particular, this consulting will be conducted via real-time video conferencing to prevent COVID-19 infection, and for participants who have difficulty with video consultations, phone consultations will be provided.
The consultation will be based on the CSAT score report and individually prepared basic consultation materials, covering ▲ 2021 academic year college entrance outlook ▲ university-specific admission procedures ▲ strategies for applying to desired universities, with each session lasting about 40 minutes per person.
Examinee Kang** (21, female) living in Sangdo-dong said, “Due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, it is difficult to select accurate admission data,” and added, “I want to participate in this admission consulting and get accepted to my desired university.”
In August, the district held a 1:1 online admission consultation for the 2021 academic year early admission, providing customized early admission strategies to a total of 101 examinees and parents, achieving a high satisfaction rate of 88%.

Meanwhile, the district will promote the ‘2021 Academic Year College Admission Pass Diagnosis Support Project’ for educationally vulnerable examinees until February next year, when the 2021 academic year admission schedule ends.
The support targets about 50 low-income college applicants, including basic livelihood security recipients and single-parent families identified by the local community centers, providing free regular admission pass diagnosis and counseling with support from Uway.
