Construction of Gwanak-gu Sinsa-dong Complex Building... Scheduled for Completion by the End of Next Year
Relocation to Temporary Office (1517-1 Nambusunhwan-ro, 4th and 5th Floors) Starting from the 14th... New Building with a Total Floor Area of 1,982㎡, Basement 1 to 4 Floors, Planned at Current Office Location
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is relocating from the current office building to a temporary office to construct a new complex building in Sinsa-dong.
The temporary office is set up on the 4th and 5th floors of 1517-1 Nambusunhwan-ro, Gwanak-gu. The Sinsa-dong Dongdaebonbu, currently located within the Sinsa-dong office, will also move to the 5th floor of the same building and operate there.
The district plans to actively promote the move to residents through banners, electronic displays, and other means. The relocation to the temporary office will take place from the end of work on the 11th through the weekend until the 13th, with normal operations resuming on the 14th.
Meanwhile, the Sinsa-dong office, built in 1987, has become outdated and cramped, insufficient to meet the increasing administrative demands and the cultural and welfare needs of residents.
In response, the district has planned to construct a complex building that can also accommodate a small library and a community center. The design work has been completed, and construction is scheduled to begin this month, with completion expected by December next year.
The Sinsa-dong complex building will be constructed with a budget of approximately 10.519 billion KRW. The site includes the existing office lot (142 Jowon-ro) and two adjacent lots (140-1, 3 Jowon-ro), with a total floor area of 1,982㎡, comprising one basement floor and four above-ground floors.
The main facilities by floor will be: ▲1st floor ? civil service office and sanitation workers’ break room ▲2nd floor ? meeting rooms and small library ▲3rd floor ? Dongdaebonbu and lecture rooms ▲4th floor ? multipurpose auditorium.
The district expects that the new Sinsa-dong complex building will meet the growing administrative demands and residents’ cultural and welfare needs, contributing to the convenience and welfare improvement of local residents.
