The ceremony was an occasion where the Embassy of Ireland in Korea (Ambassador Julian Clare) and the Ireland Enterprise Promotion Agency in Korea (CEO Eom Tae-won) delivered antimicrobial and antiviral protective glass produced by KASTUS, a multinational nanotechnology company headquartered in Ireland, to Jongno-gu.
On this day, supported by the Ireland Enterprise Promotion Agency in Korea and sponsored by Inficraft, the official domestic importer of KASTUS, the protective glass was installed on the touchscreens of unmanned civil service issuance machines in the main building's comprehensive situation room and the Civil Affairs and Passport Department in the first annex, to help residents and visitors use the devices safely.
