Muan-gun Cancels All Sunset and Sunrise Events
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 8th that it has completely canceled the year-end and New Year's sunrise events to protect the safety of local residents and tourists and to strengthen quarantine measures amid the nationwide spread of the COVID-19 infectious disease.
Until now, the year-end and New Year's sunrise events at Bongsusan in Samhyang-eup, Doripo in Haeje-myeon, and Yeonghae Park in Unnam-myeon have been held annually as occasions for locals and tourists to reflect on the past year and welcome the coming new year. However, this time, the events will not be held to ensure a safe new year.
