Gwangju City to Conduct Online Communication Content Public Participation Evaluation Until the 11th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 8th that it will conduct a public participation evaluation, in which citizens directly participate to select excellent works, until the 11th, following the selection of the finalists for the ‘2020 Online Communication Content Contest’ that discovers communication content created from the perspective of citizens.
The 2020 Online Communication Content Contest is a project that selects video content directly proposed and created by citizens under the theme ‘If I Were the Mayor? Ideas for a Better Gwangju to Live In’ and promotes them through the city’s representative promotional media.
From the 16th to the 22nd of last month, a total of 48 entries (41 in the general category, 7 in the youth category) were received, and 16 finalists (10 in the general category, 6 in the youth category) were selected through preliminary screening conducted by external experts.
The public participation evaluation, which accounts for 20% of the final evaluation score, allows any citizen to log in with their personal social network service (SNS) account on the contest website, watch the publicly disclosed finalists, evaluate the video content and completeness, and vote for the most relatable work.
After the public participation evaluation, the final competition, a non-face-to-face open contest, will determine the rankings such as Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Merit Award.
On the day of the final, 100 online audience judges, recruited on a first-come, first-served basis from citizens, will conduct judging through a video conference system, which will be reflected as 30% of the final evaluation score.
